Thornfield HouseSigma BF Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera Body, Black
Our Price: £1,869.00
The Sigma BF in black is a radically simple full-frame camera, cut from a single block of aluminium. Launched in 2025, it has a 24.6MP sensor, 230GB of built-in storage and just three buttons and one dial, so you think about the picture rather than the settings.
Sigma machines the body from one solid block of aluminium, which it describes as the first true unibody camera. The black finish is discreet for street photography and suits the black versions of Sigma's I series lenses.
There are three buttons, one dial, the shutter release and the power button. Sigma says they are the first pressure-sensitive haptic buttons on a mirrorless camera, and all settings sit in a clear menu on the rear screen.
The 24.6MP back-illuminated sensor works with phase and contrast hybrid autofocus that detects people, dogs and cats. Sigma's Color Modes, including Teal and Orange, Powder Blue and 709 Look, give finished-looking images straight from the camera.
There is no card slot. Around 230GB of internal memory holds thousands of RAW files, and USB-C handles transfers and charging. Video runs to 6K 30p with L-Log for grading.
This is for photographers who want a beautiful, distraction-free camera for everyday life. It pairs well with small L-Mount primes such as the Sigma 17mm F4 DG DN and Sigma 90mm F2.8 DG. There is no viewfinder or in-body stabilisation, so if you need those, look at other L-Mount bodies. The Sigma BF is also available in silver.
