Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We may refuse a return or charge a restocking fee for any items we deem unable to be sold as brand-new.

To start a return, sign in using your email address, find your order and click on "request return". You can also contact us at sales@harrisoncameras.co.uk. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Thornfield House, Sheepbridge Works, Dunston Road, Chesterfield, S41 9QD

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

If you are a resident of the European Union or the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase and cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

1. The Withdrawal Period

The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you (or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier) acquire physical possession of the goods.

If your order consists of multiple items delivered separately, the 14-day period begins on the day you receive the last item of that order.

2. How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement before the 14-day period expires.

3. Return Shipping

You must send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us.

  • Return Cost: Unless otherwise stated, you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
  • Condition of Goods: You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

4. Reimbursement Timing and Method

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We will carry out the refund without undue delay, and no later than:

  • 14 days after the day we receive the returned goods back from you, or
  • 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods (whichever is earliest).

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following types of products:

  • Personalized or Custom-Made Items: Goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalized.
