I thought the packaging was excessive. A bubblewrap envelope wouldhave been fine.

Has a great feel very light weight, meaning ideal to carry.
Image stablization enhances this model further,once you get used to handling the lens photos will improve.

I order this paper, as I had used it before and was pleased with the results. I have not used this company before, but I was very impressed with their packaging, prompt deliver and general service. I will definitely use this company again.

Fits well and screws on nicely, looks well made. I have no complaint about the effectiveness, although I've no experience regarding comparative tests (like most amateur photographers, I use it to protect the much more expensive lens).

I love this lens.
Prior to purchase I'd seen many positive youtube articles about its performance, the reviewers seemed to be happy accepting the slight limitations associated with a wide range zoom lens, stating they were well within expectations. One final reviewer was not so happy, and even returned his purchase for a refund. This almost deterred me, but I took the plunge anyway and I'm glad. Yes, at full zoom it'll be a bit limited in low light, but otherwise it performed better than I expected. Very slight chromatic aberration can be seen on dark edges against white backgrounds when pixel-peeping towards the edges, but not a problem, and this is a £600 relatively compact lens, not a £3000+ monster!
One point to be born in mind, I use the lens with a Sony a6400 and first time I used a Sigma lens (i.e. a non-Sony lens) the in-camera automatic aberration and distortion correction was defaulted to "Off", so make sure your own camera has these or it comparable setting changed to "On". Perhaps the negative review had this setting disabled?
Great lens - I recommend this for those days you need that zoom flexibility with extra reach, and don't want to lens-swap, and the 18-50mm F2.8 Sigma for indoors, or outdoor when the the better aperture is more useful than tons of zoom.
Oh, and the build quality feels and looks superb.

LowePro have always been my go-to brand of bag and I have no qualms with their quality, which is why they get this honourable mention!
However, I was looking for a combination of proper camera protection, side-access so I can grab the camera without having to find somewhere to put the bag down, and importantly somewhere to stash food for walks and souvenirs from city breaks. It also HAD to have pouches for a water bottle and have good padded shoulder straps. This bag was not cheap, but hopefully it’ll be the last one I ever need to buy! When I viewed it in-store after reserving it over the phone, it exceeded my expectations as the photos don’t do it justice.
It’s very comfortable, looks smart in an understated way, and ticks all the other boxes.
My only criticism is that the dividers inside are quite thin and flimsy. I do think that for the price of this bag the manufacturer ought to provide better options for configuring the main compartment.

Cost nearly as much as the second hand camera body I bought to use the film with, but that's analogue photography nowadays. Delivered promptly and now sitting in my fridge awaiting some sunshine to get me out shooting again.
