Product Description

Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 Art L-Mount Lens DG DN

sigma 24-70mm

Capture more with the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 Art L-Mount Lens DG DN. Offering a 24-70mm focal length and maximum F2.8 aperture, this Art Line lens is perfect for portrait photography, capturing cityscapes, and close-ups. For both professional and advanced amateur photographers, SIGMA have constructed a durable, versatile lens that is ready for challenging shooting conditions. Featuring a superb optical design to minimise optical aberrations and fast auto focus so the perfect shot is never missed.

Close-up Perspectives

With a minimum focusing distance of 18cm – at the wide-angle end – you can capture more details. Maximum magnifications are 1:2:9 at the wide-angle end and 1:4:5 at the telephoto end for more freedom over perspectives in close-up photography. In addition, the 11-blade rounded diaphragm allows for the creation of beautifully smooth bokeh – giving the subject clear focus and attention.

Fast Auto Focus

The combination of a stepping motor and the latest algorithm deliver a faster and quieter AF drive for more effective focusing. This lens is also compatible with Eye-Detection AF used in mirrorless cameras which allows for more precise focusing points – beneficial for portrait photography.

SIGMA's Optics

SIGMA have incorporated 19 elements in 15 groups, including 6 FLD (F Low Dispersion) glass elements, 1 SLD (Special Low Dispersion) element and 3 aspherical glass elements. The lenses are strategically arranged to significantly reduce optical aberrations and ensure optimum image quality is consistent throughout the zoom range.

Combatting Ghosting and Flare

A super multi-layer coating has been combined with SIGMA’s NPC (Nano Porous Coating) technology to prevent ghosting and flare when working with bright light sources/backlit conditions. The Art lens also features a hood to block unwanted light and ensures image quality remains sharp and clear across the frame. The lens hood also locks to prevent dropping.

Robust Construction

SIGMA have constructed the Art lens to endure the rigours of professional daily use. Featuring a brass bayonet mount to contribute to the overall durability of the lens, as well as a dust and splash resistant structure and water and oil repellent coating to ensure the lens can be put through more challenging shooting conditions whilst continuing to operate.
