The Kodak PIXPRO FZ55 in pink is a slim pocket camera with a 5x zoom and a rechargeable battery, in a soft pink body.

Simple to use

The 28-140mm equivalent lens is a little wider and longer than the FZ45's, with face and smile detection for portraits and Full HD video at the press of one button. Scene modes cover the beach, snow, parties, fireworks and night shots.

Rechargeable battery

The FZ55 uses an LB-012 lithium-ion battery that charges over USB and gives about 200 shots. That makes it slimmer and lighter than the AA-powered FZ45, at about 106g.

Who it suits

Holidays, nights out, school trips and first cameras. It is small enough for a jeans pocket and simple enough that nobody needs the manual.

How do I charge the Kodak FZ55?

With the USB cable and mains adapter supplied. It uses the LB-012 lithium-ion battery, which gives about 200 shots per charge.

Is the pink FZ55 different from the other colours?

No. The pink version has the same sensor, lens and features as the other colours. Only the finish changes.

What memory card does the FZ55 take?

An SD, SDHC or SDXC card, up to 512GB. A card is not included.

What is the difference between the FZ55 and the FZ45?

The FZ55 has a 5x zoom and a rechargeable battery and is slimmer. The FZ45 has a 4x zoom and runs on two AA batteries.

Is the FZ55 waterproof?

No. For the beach or the pool, look at the Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2, which is waterproof to 15m.
