The Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 in yellow is a tough waterproof camera for the beach, the pool and the hills. The bright yellow body is easy to find if you drop it in the water or the sand.

Waterproof, shockproof, dustproof

The WPZ2 is waterproof to 15m, shockproof from 2m and dustproof to IP6X, so sand, rain, the pool and a drop onto rocks are not a problem. Check the seal on the battery door is clean and closed before each swim.

Camera

It has a 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, a 4x optical zoom and Full HD video. The 2.7-inch screen is used for framing, and built-in Wi-Fi sends photos to your phone after a dive.

Who it suits

Snorkelling, family beach holidays, kayaking, skiing and festivals, and anyone who would not risk their phone in those places. It weighs about 176g.

How deep can the Kodak WPZ2 go?

It is waterproof to 15m, which covers swimming, snorkelling and shallow diving.

Is the yellow WPZ2 different from the other colours?

No. The yellow version has the same sensor, lens and features as the other colours. Only the finish changes.

Is the WPZ2 shockproof?

Yes, it is shockproof from a drop of up to 2m. It is also dustproof to IP6X.

What memory card does the WPZ2 take?

A microSD card. The kit version includes a 16GB card.

Does the WPZ2 have Wi-Fi?

Yes. It connects to Kodak's free PIXPRO app on your phone so you can copy photos across.

How do I keep the WPZ2 watertight?

Check that the seal on the battery and card door is clean and free of sand, then close it firmly until it locks. Rinse the camera in fresh water after using it in the sea.
