Even when shooting hand held, with the inclusion of the 5.5-stop stabiliser, this lens will continue to provide uniform, sharp images from the centre to the edges of the frame.

Lens Coating ASC (Air Sphere Coating) and SWC (Subwavelength Structure Coating) have been applied to the lens elements to reduce unwanted reflection such as ghosting and flare when shooting in difficult light conditions.
