Sound is so important for all sorts of reasons, but especially for video footage where a microphone can make a huge difference. We sell a range of microphones for all types of camera and video equipment, so plenty to choose from. A good microphone can either stand alone, fix to the flash shoe or even on a lapel for anyone blogging, or creating video footage with commentary. Easy to set up, they give high quality stereo sound with the minimum amount of extraneous noise that spoils the end result. The standard camera or video microphone tends to pick up random sounds within its immediate surroundings, which may not be the sounds that are wanted. When talking to camera or recording the natural environment around the camera, it is really important to fix an external microphone to the camera hotshoe, so that it is more directional for speech or omni-directional for a wider sound quality. Attached by locking screw, many of the microphones we sell have dampeners on them to make sure there is no vibration through the camera and they link through using contacts on the bottom of the microphone base.
