With birds often hiding in dense cover, it’s essential that you have a wide field of view to allow you to spot any slight movements. The wide field of view of the Zeiss Victory SF 8x42 increases the observable area of interest by up to 20% in comparison with other binoculars. Depending on the model, the field of view is between 120 m and 155 m, giving the user an impressive overview
True-to-life image quality
In birdwatching, it's important to identify birds accurately and quickly, paying attention to even the smallest details. The ZEISS Victory SF family was specifically designed to handle the most challenging birdwatching scenarios. Using the UFL Concept, the optical performance of this family of products is maximised, making it easier for users to capture every precious moment with clarity and precision.
SmartFocus Concept
The remarkable SmartFocus feature enables you to respond more swiftly and intuitively, thanks to its improved focusing speed. The focusing wheel is located in the triple-link bridge, which allows for a natural and comfortable hand position. The anti-slip surface facilitates easier and more precise operation, resulting in optimal focusing.
ZEISS T* Coating
The ZEISS T* coating ensures that you get clear and high-contrast images even in low light conditions or during twilight. However, there is no fixed formula for building up the layers of the coating. Instead, it is a constantly evolving technology that is tailored to suit different glass materials and requirements. As a result, the coating's composition may vary from one lens to another.
ErgoBalance Concept
Thanks to the ErgoBalance Concept, the Zeiss Victory SF 8x42 are ideally balanced in the hands and enable prolonged and steady observation with minimum fatigue by reducing stresses on the muscles of the upper and lower arms.
A clear view, whatever the weather
There are always exciting things to be seen in the world of nature – even in wet weather. This is why ZEISS developed LotuTec®. A coating for the lenses of binoculars and spotting scopes that enables a clear and unhindered view in all weather conditions.
