The ZEISS Secacam 1 is the most affordable model in the ZEISS trail camera portfolio, offering outstanding value for money and a perfect introduction to reliable wildlife observation. It combines trusted ZEISS image quality with modern digital features, integrated connectivity, and full compatibility with the ZEISS Secacam accessory ecosystem.
ZEISS Image Quality – Day and Night
Equipped with a light-sensitive CMOS sensor and 60 invisible 940 nm Black-LEDs, the Secacam 1 captures sharp, detailed images in all lighting conditions. ZEISS IR Boost Technology ensures clear, well-illuminated night images without disturbing wildlife. The 3 MP sensor (up to 24 MP interpolated) and 60° field of view provide balanced coverage and natural composition, even in challenging environments.
Fast Detection and Reliable Performance
A responsive motion sensor delivers fast trigger times of approximately 0.35–0.45 seconds, minimising motion blur. With a flash and detection range of up to around 20–25 metres (depending on conditions), animals are captured reliably both day and night. Transmitted images are sent at a resolution of 1,920 × 1,440 pixels for clear remote viewing.
Easy Setup and Plug-and-Play Operation
The ZEISS Secacam 1 is ready for immediate use. It features 32 GB of integrated internal storage, eliminating the need for SD cards, and a USB-C connection for easy data transfer. A 2.4-inch TFT-LCD colour display and integrated TEST button allow quick on-site alignment and setup. Power is supplied by eight AA (LR6) batteries via a practical battery magazine.
Connectivity, Security and App Control
An integrated 4G LTE module with a multi-roaming SIM automatically selects the strongest available network, enabling image transmission across the EU, Switzerland, Norway, and the UK. GPS location transmission, HTTPS data transfer, and storage within the ZEISS cloud ensure security and compliance with strict EU data protection standards. The free ZEISS Secacam App allows remote camera control, status checks, image viewing, and sharing.
Built for the Outdoors
With an IP66-certified housing, the Secacam 1 is designed for year-round outdoor use, operating reliably from –20 °C to +55 °C. Compact dimensions and full accessory compatibility allow flexible and secure installation.
