Product Description

The Walkstool Comfort 45 Foldable Chair is a collapsible, portable seat ideal for walking, outdoor events and picnics. The Comfort 45 is made with a lightweight construction with telescopic legs in aluminium. The chair can also be used in a lower sitting height when the legs are not extended. The Walkstool Comfort 45 features big rubber feet and a comfortable 35cm seat, made of mesh material - the seat is approximately 40% bigger than a normal seat for a three legged stool. Allows comfortable sitting for long periods of time. Supplied with carry bag so the chair can be carried over the shoulder when out and about.

I am 5' 8'' tall and wear a 30" leg trouser (relevant for sizing of these stools).
I bought the 45cm stool, but returned it went with the 55cm. The 55cm was more comfortable for me, allowing my to sit with my knees a little more than 90 degrees, as opposed to the 45cm stool which had me slightly crouched with knees bent more than 90 deg. The other benefit for me with the 55cm stool is that it's very usable with the legs retracted; whereas
the 45cm stool was too low of be comfortable for me used in this way.

These stools are reasonably lightweight; small enough to fit inside my 30 litre rucksack; robust; and comfortable, even for a couple of hours. I use mine while waiting for wildlife to show (hopefully). Being able to use the stool at full height, half height and even while kneeling, makes it very useful, when the location calls for a higher, or lower view, to get the shot.

Worth the high price.

I purchased this for my Daughter's birthday, who's into photography. She absolutely loves this stool, light enough for her to carry alongside all her camera gear, but comfortable to sit on for long periods, quick and east to put up and take down. Worth the money.
