The bayonets are made of durable and sturdy metal for the strength of the mount. And they have electronic contacts to enable auto focus. The USB port on the mount can be used for firmware updates. I was looking for an adapter to use my Canon Tilt Shift lens on my Fuji GFX 100s. I settled on this one and it works perfectly. It feels well built and the electrical contacts work fine although the lens is manual focus so I can’t comment on the autofocus operation.
