The Viking 10×34 Merlin ED is a lightweight and robust binocular, perfect for both travel and wildlife observation. With excellent image quality, wide field of view, and close focusing ability, the Merlin offers a versatile viewing experience in a compact body.

Optical Performance

Bright and sharp images are delivered through high-quality ED lenses that are fully multi-coated. These are paired with phase and dielectric-coated BAK4 prisms to maximise clarity and colour fidelity, making them ideal for birdwatching, nature walks, or urban exploration.

Design and Durability

The body is constructed from magnesium and the armour from rubber, making the Merlin tough yet lightweight, weighing just 525g. Its compact dimensions (W128 × L122 × D46mm) make it easy to carry. Rated to IPX7 waterproof standards and nitrogen filled, it remains reliable even in wet or humid conditions.
