Sony FE 55mm f1.8 ZA Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* Lens is an e-mount prime lens which is designed for use with the a7 and a7R bodies. The large f1.8 maximum aperture allows more light to reach the cameras sensor, this produces high contrast images. Sonnar T* Anti-Reflective coating and Carl Zeiss technology produces stunning images with a high resolution and contrast. Capture images in sharp detail with a normal prime lens, this produces a higher level of optical perfomance than most zoom lens. Aspherical lens elements ensures less internal reflections in a compact design. The 9 blade circular aperture produces natural looking defocusing effects (bokeh). A linear motor focusing mechanism produces fast autofocusing and reduces the minimum focal distance. With dust and moisture seals, this lens can be used outdoors without worry.
