Certainly kept the salt off cameras on a recent pelagic boat trip & dust off too, so did the job it was tasked with. It doesn't stay on the lens hood if you move about a lot but it's easy enough to push it back on.
Hi again, a follow up.
A real world test today, no watering can.
Me, the dog, Lucy, and camera were out for over 2 hours in the pouring
rain this morning, dedication or what?
Lucy and me got a wee bit wet, but not my camera, bone dry apart from
some moisture from my wet hands.
I really liked the way the hotshoe anchor kept everything in place, ready
for use, no having to adjust.
I did find one small negative though.
As I raised the camera to my eye, my breath steamed up the the
viewing window a lot. A quick swipe with my finger sorted it so don’t
let this deter you from buying one.
That’s it. Buy one, you’ll not regret it.
I’d had a lot of heavy rain so I decided to swop my binbag for a proper
Rain cover. Gets the cover, no rain!
I got fed-up of waiting so attached it to my D500 with vertical grip and
Peak design strap, attached top left and bottom with my 70-200 2.8 and it accommodated them with ease, so much so that I tried it with my
150-600 fully extended. I fastened it halfway down the lenshood, no
Problem; I placed it on the floor and emptied a full watering can ,with rose
over it, all 5ltrs. Everything was dry as a bone, well impressed.
Even with the strap attached I have good access, and I’ve got big hands.
The material looks as if it could handle rough conditions too.
I ordered the small version for my smaller sized lenses. I’ve tried it on my
35 1.8, which it’s not really designed for but it was fine, a bit of ruffling that did not hinder me.
Would I recommend it? It’s a no brainer, and you don’t have to break
the Bank either.
Snowing this morning so thought I will try out my new Think Tank Camera Cover, and it worked perfectly. Would be quite happy to use it in any weather conditions, Sea/Sand/Rain.
Great product. Plenty of room for hands to operate my camera inside the cover. Compact when not in use. Lightweight
