I bought this camera roller because my gear is heavy and I am not that strong .
My demands were something that could hold 2 camerahouses, Canon 1DxmkII and 1 DmkIV, 17-40mm L f4, 24-70mm L f/2.8, 70-200mm L f/2.8 and 300mm L f/4, 580 EX and 600 EX, battery pack, extra batteries for cameraes.
So I ended up buying the Think Tank Airport Security 3.0. I have not one second regretted this buy. The quality is amazing and it holds evrything in place and secured. My warmest recommendations
Does exactly what is says on the tin; no disappointments, no pity about that or I wish it had this. It does exactly what the manufacturer said it would - must be something of a first! - and I could’t be happier. If you are looking for a top quality (large) rolling camera bag buy one.
A real improvement over the V1 and V2 version. No compromise on this wonderful rolling case. It is a sturdy one, you know it will serve you for many years to come. I had to sell the V1 because of the annoying issue of no compartment for laptop! This V3 is now solving the issue with a dedicated space. On top, they have redesigned the main compartment so the hoods on big lenses is placed fter the trolley handle! My 400mm 2.8 is now in secuirty with its hood.
If you have big lenses i would urge you to consider this one over the international which is smaller.
This is simply the best rolling case you will ever get (until the V4 :)) on the market. Period.
This is a top quality bag and Think Tank have gone to a great deal of thought in designing it. I love the laptop and tablet padded sections and associated pockets which are very easily accessible. The main interior is unbelievably flexible, the dividers are super quality and Think Tank give you more dividers than you are ever likely to need.
But be aware what use you are going to put this bag through. In my case I travel a lot by car and it is fine. I put a lot of thought whether to get this or the international version and I made the right choice for my use. If you want to take a camera bag on a plane as hand luggage in Europe this wont work -it is too deep and if there's a weight limit the bag will take most of that!
Well done Think Tank -its expensive but not compared to all the gear you can safely pack in it.
