The Think Tank Airport Essentials Kit holds a standard DSLR, 4-6 standard zooms, iPad and up to 13" laptop. Also it fits up to a 300 f/2.8 lens attached a standard sized camera body. There is a top pocket for your boarding passes and 3 handles to make it easy to put in and take out your bag from overhead compartments. The bag is light and adjustable, and comes with a height adjustable strap to enable a perfect fit. As well as this there is a removable waist belt, a side water bottle pouch, seam sealed rain cover and a tripod mounting system. With the new front flap with security clip, you can also turn your back on your backpack safe in knowing that your laptop case is secure.
Security cable & combination lock allows you to lock the laptop case or to immovable objects. This security cable is very effective when you have to leave your gear for a period of time in a media room, wedding hall, hotel room, or other open area. Also there is YKK zipper sliders for added security.
Holds your laptop and iPad in a separte lockable zippered compatrment. If the laptop case is not being used, the front pocket is very useful for jackets, books, and other items that need to be carried.
This size meets all international requirements for carry on size. It will fit into the overhead of almost all planes except small CRJ planes (but it will fit under the seat).
The inside depth is 6.8”, so there is no problem putting pro-size DSLRs inside of the bag, with or without the lenses attached.
You can store a 500mm f4 lens or a 600mm lens. After storing a 500mm/600mm lens there is still room for plenty of other items, including two pro-size DSLRs.
The inside flap has see-through laminated mesh pockets for various accessories such as note pads, memory card wallets, instruction books, and other items.

Excellent product, very well constructed. Used to travel with - contents Canon 500mm f4 IS mk2, Canon DX and Olympus E-M1 mk2., plus a few more bits and bobs depending on baggage allowance. Very easy to configure internally, strong zips and comfortable shoulder straps. Rugged and waterproof. Excellent purchase.
Perfect sized bag for bringing your camera on holiday.
Plenty of room to carry the essentials with room to spare. It is understated, well made and finished. It won’t fit a Canon 1dx with an L lens attached in an upright position, but will store it lying flat without a lens.
I’m using mine with a Sony A7R mk III with Loxia 35mm attached and (all Canon L) 8-15 f4, 16-35 f2.8, 24-70 f2.8, Sony flash, Really Right Stuff ballhead, Sennheiser stereo mike, charger, cables and still have room for another lens or accessory.
I try not to overload the bag with laptops and iPads, but it will accommodate those too.
Bought this for a trip abroad as my usual camera bag had no laptop slot and cabin baggage restrictions on the airline I used meant I couldn't take a separate laptop bag. For travel purposes, I was really pleased with how much I could fit in the bag: Canon 5D III, 650D, Tamron 24-70mm, Sigma 70-200mm, Canon 70-300, Canon 100mm, Canon 50mm, 2 x extender plus various filters and batteries and of course the laptop. Although the bag was quite heavy once filled I had no issues carrying it on both shoulders (just had to be careful not to knock over anyone standing closeby whilst swinging it into position!) Once I reached my destination, when going out shooting I tended not to take all my gear with me in the bag and on days where I only wanted one extra lens with me I tended to use the Think Tank Turnstyle 10 Sling bag I'd also taken.
Think Tank Airport Essentials Camera Bag I have previously own a similar bag so I knew the product would be good. It is quite rectangular in design which does allow more space than you would imagine. The zip on these products are legendary and it is the only bag I would trust when travelling abroad. What particularly pleased me however, is that it was nearly 40 cheaper at Harrisons, than on Amazon. All in all, a good buy.
I bought this as it fits in even the tightest hand luggage restraints which is ideal for me as I shoot weddings and sometimes have to fly for work. I ended up carrying three bodies (5dmkiii, 6d and film camera Canon 1V), lenses, two flashes and triggers. It was really comfortable despite it being obviously quite a weight. It wouldn't be something I'd use unless I was flying as I prefer using my Kelly Moore shoulder bag for most weddings as it's so easy just to reach in and grab things but for what I needed it for it completely surpassed my expectations. Well worth investing in
