Despite its compact size, this lens delivers high-resolution imagery and rich bokeh through an advanced optical design of 15 elements in 13 groups. The inclusion of one XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion), two LD (Low Dispersion), and three GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) elements effectively suppresses chromatic and other aberrations. To ensure clarity in challenging lighting, TAMRON’s BBAR-G2 coating minimizes ghosting and flare, while the F/2.8 aperture produces the soft background blur necessary for professional-grade portraits.
