Our Price: £229.00
Small, powerful, and built for mirrorless cameras. The Sony HVL-F28RMA delivers GN28 output in a pocket-sized design that rivals larger flashes. Wireless radio control lets you position it off-camera up to 35 metres away, commanding up to 15 units across five groups for complete lighting flexibility. Stable radio communication works in bright sunlight and around obstacles where optical systems fail. Designed for Sony α7 series cameras, it combines professional durability with intuitive on-camera control. Perfect for portraits, events, and creative bounce lighting.

I’m just using it as a radio flash commander on the camera (A7C ii) to fire 3 off camera flashes (HVL-F60RM2, HVL-46RM, HVL-45RM). It’s cheaper than Sony’s radio commander FA-WRC1M. The only disadvantage, I think, is that it has no screen, so you have to use the camera menu. As a flash it is a bit limited as it does not rotate laterally, only up.
