he SmallRig Desktop Magic Arm with Crab-Shaped Clamp Kit is a versatile mounting solution designed for content creation, live streaming, video conferencing, product photography and desktop filming setups. Combining a magic arm and crab-shaped clamp in a rigid one-piece design, it provides secure mounting with enhanced stability whilst minimising unwanted movement or deflection.
The integrated design allows cameras, smartphones, lights, microphones and other accessories to be positioned precisely where needed. A dedicated cable clamp attaches directly to the magic arm, helping to organise cables and maintain a clean, clutter-free workspace during filming or streaming sessions.
The crab-shaped clamp features jaws that open up to 55mm, allowing attachment to desks, tables, shelves and other flat surfaces, as well as cylindrical objects such as poles and support arms. Silicone protective pads improve grip and help prevent damage to mounted surfaces. The included phone clamp accommodates smartphones between 60mm and 95mm wide, making the kit ideal for mobile content creation.
Constructed primarily from durable aluminium alloy, the system supports payloads of up to 1kg whilst remaining lightweight and easy to position.
