The SmallRig 5290 CT25 Professional Overhead Camera Tripod is a versatile aluminium tripod designed for content creators, photographers, videographers and livestreamers who require both traditional and overhead shooting capabilities.
A removable tripod leg can be combined with the included ball head to create a monopod, providing additional flexibility when shooting on location. The ball head supports payloads of up to 5kg in standard use and 3kg when configured for overhead shooting.
The integrated overhead adapter enables unique shooting angles and supports dual-camera configurations, making it ideal for product photography, unboxing videos, tutorials, tabletop filming and livestream production. The adapter also allows the attachment of monitors or compact LED video lights for an enhanced workflow.
For expanded rig setups, the ball head includes a 1/4"-20 accessory mounting thread, allowing the attachment of magic arms, monitors, microphones and wireless transmitters. A stabilising hook is also included and can support hanging weights up to 1kg to improve stability during overhead operation.
