Thornfield HouseSigma fp Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera Body
Our Price: £1,599.00
The Sigma fp is a pocketable full-frame mirrorless camera that Sigma introduced in 2019 as the world's smallest and lightest of its kind. It pairs a 24.6MP back-illuminated sensor with cinema-grade RAW video in a modular L-Mount body of just 370g, so it works as an everyday street camera or as the core of a small film rig.
The body measures 112.6 x 69.9 x 45.3mm. You can use it bare with a small lens, or add a hot shoe, grip, viewfinder, monitor or cage as a job needs them. The body has built-in heat-sink fins instead of a cooling fan.
The 24.6MP back-illuminated sensor gives clean files with a native ISO range of 100 to 25,600. Sigma's Color Modes, including Teal and Orange and Powder Blue, give distinctive looks straight from the camera, and there is no mechanical shutter, so it is completely silent.
The Cine mode records 12-bit CinemaDNG RAW internally to SD cards or to an external SSD over USB, and outputs RAW over HDMI to a compatible recorder. 4K runs up to 30p, and Full HD up to 120p.
As an L-Mount camera it takes lenses from Sigma, Leica and Panasonic, and Sigma's MC-21 adapter opens up Canon EF and cine lenses. Small primes such as the Sigma 24mm F3.5 DG DN keep the whole kit pocket-sized.
This is for photographers and filmmakers who want full-frame quality in the smallest possible body. The Sigma fp L adds a 61MP sensor and hybrid autofocus, and the Sigma BF is the newer, simpler everyday camera.

Sigma introduced it as the world's smallest and lightest full-frame mirrorless camera, and it is still one of the smallest available.
Yes. It records 12-bit CinemaDNG RAW internally or to an SSD, which few cameras this size can do.
No. It uses the rear screen, and the EVF-11 or LVF-11 loupe can be added.
No. It has electronic stabilisation only, so a stabilised lens or a gimbal helps for handheld video.
The fp has 24.6MP and a faster burst rate. The fp L has 61MP, phase-detection hybrid autofocus and Crop Zoom.
The BP-51, rated at about 280 shots. It can also be charged and powered over USB-C.
