Sigma 50mm F1.4 DG HSM A Lens in Nikon Fit is a high performance, large aperture lens which is ideal for creative applications with photo and video use. Designed with a focus on optical performance, this fast standard prime lens is able to achieve fast and silent autofocusing and the highest resolution in the focus point and exceptional rendering performance, even near the edge of the image.
This Art Line series lens delivers high-level expression and is perfect for landscapes, portrait, still-life, close-up and causal snaps. This lens incorporated a floating system which adjusts the distance betwen lens groups while focusing, this then reduces the amount of lens movement required. This provides a minimum focusing distance of 40cm and a magnification ratio of 1:5.6. The HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) achieves a silent yet high-speed AF function. It also allows full time manual focusing capability which allows sensible focus adjustment by easily rotating the focus ring.

Wow is an under statement for this lens lovely and sharp on my Nikon D7100 mighty impressed only downside... wish it had Nikon's VR (Vibration Reduction) as my number of captured good shots has reduced somewhat lol. That said it lets lots of light in so fast shutter speeds usable case of learning to use it slightly differently to the Nikon own lenses. Overall 10/10 for its optics :-)
