Who it's forThis is for photographers who want a small, bright wide prime to carry every day. The Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG DN is the faster, weather-resistant choice for astro and weddings, and the Sigma 24mm F3.5 DG DN is even smaller with close-up ability. |

It has a rubber-sealed, dust- and splash-resistant mount. Sigma does not describe the rest of the lens as weather sealed.

superb lens, build quality is so satisfying. Fast focus on my alpha 7. Bought is over other lenses because of the aperture ring, which is such a good feature for someone used to manual/film photrography. Can't fault it. Love the magnetic lens cap too!
