Thornfield HouseSigma 24mm F1.4 DG DN Art Lens for L-Mount
Our Price: £799.00
The Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG DN Art for L-Mount is a fast full-frame wide-angle prime. Sigma designed it to meet the demands of astrophotography while keeping it compact for an F1.4 lens, and at 520g it balances well on a Lumix S5II, Sigma BF or Leica SL3.
There are 17 elements in 14 groups, including two FLD, one SLD and four aspherical elements. Sigma tuned the design for sharp, point-like stars across the frame at F1.4.
A lens heater retainer holds a dew strap in place, and there is a rear filter holder for sheet filters alongside the 72mm front thread.
There is an aperture ring with a click switch and a lock, an assignable AFL button and a manual focus lock switch. The petal hood locks onto the lens.
The body is dust- and splash-resistant, and the front element has a water- and oil-repellent coating.
This is for astro, landscape, event and wedding photographers who want a fast wide prime that is still a sensible size. The Sigma 24mm F3.5 DG DN is the pocketable alternative with 1:2 close focus, and the Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG II gives a more natural standard view.
Also available for Sony E.
