The Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports for L-Mount was Sigma's first Sports-line lens made for mirrorless cameras. It brings 600mm reach and a weather-resistant build to a Lumix S5II, Sigma BF or Leica SL3 for birds, wildlife, motorsport and air shows.

Optical design

There are 25 elements in 15 groups, including four FLD and two SLD elements, to keep fine detail and colour clean at 600mm.

Stabilisation and autofocus

Optical stabilisation has a general mode and a panning mode, and a custom switch stores two of your own settings. Autofocus uses a stepping motor with a magnetic position sensor, with a three-position focus limiter and three AFL buttons.

Zoom control

The Dual Action Zoom works by turning the ring or by push-pull. A three-position zoom torque switch locks the zoom, makes it tight, or lets it move freely.

Build

It is dust- and splash-resistant, and the removable tripod foot is Arca-Swiss compatible with 90 degree click stops. On L-Mount it works with Sigma's TC-1411 and TC-2011 teleconverters. That extends the reach to 1200mm with autofocus.
