Step up your viewing experience with the Pentax 16x50 S-Series SP Binoculars. Designed for high-power observation, these binoculars provide an intense 16x magnification, making them perfect for scrutinising distant subjects or exploring detailed celestial objects like comets and star clusters.
The large 50 mm objective lenses are fully multicoated to ensure maximum light transmission, which is crucial for delivering bright images even with such high magnification. The traditional porro prism configuration provides a rich sense of depth, enhancing your observation experience. The high magnification delivers close-up detail, with a focused field of view of 61.2 m at 1000 m.
The optics are engineered for clarity and low-light performance. Featuring anti-reflection fully multicoated lenses, these binoculars efficiently capture available light, while the use of BAK4 porro prisms ensures high image fidelity and sharp resolution across the field of view.
Built with a strong closed-bridge configuration, the Pentax 16x50 binoculars are encased in rubberised armouring. This provides excellent protection against bumps and impacts while offering a non-slip surface for a secure and comfortable grip.
The 13 mm eye relief is ample for comfortable viewing, especially for those wearing spectacles, with fold-down rubber eyecups that seal against the ocular cavity to block distracting side light. Due to the high 16x magnification and weight of 907.2 g, these binoculars can be easily mounted onto a tripod using an optional adapter, ensuring stable views during long observation sessions.
