I love the peakdesign gear so bought the light for my new mirrorless having utilised the larger ones for my eventually outgoing DSLRS. They're well made and secure and the smooth material design allows the strap to 'slide' to allow you to lift the camera into position easily. Also whilst not 'boring' looking, they're not overly flash and showy.... as I know some 'pro' togs pay more attention to 'their image' rather than to 'their actual images'.
Best price on the internet too and quick shipping- thank you
This Peak Design Slide Light is a beautifully made Camera Strap which is quick and easy to attach to the camera and after the initial fitting the strap can be detached and reattached with ease making tripod use or storing the camera in it's bag much more convenient. I have this strap fitted to my Fujifilm XT3 and it is just the kind of strap that this camera deserves to have, far superior than the rubbish that Fujifilm supply as standard. Peak Design very kindly supplied me with some extra fitting clips with plastic covers so that my camera will not get scuffed or scratched in any way.
I am very happy to have bought this Camera Strap from Harrison Cameras, the price was great and delivery was free and very quick so thanks to one and all.
I'm using the strap on a Nikon Z6 with the 24-200mm lens. I've attached the anchors to the camera mounting points and also fixed the tripod mount plate as a third anchor point, which allows the camera to be carried in the sling style and points the lens downward. The strap is nicely made and comes with quality fittings and the web material looks as though it will stand up to a lot of use, before becoming worn looking. The option of the smooth side and grippy side is great, depending on how you wear the camera. The strap is not heavy or bulky and folds nicely into the top of the Case Logic Compact Zoom camera bag, although this is obviously subject to the camera setup and bag. You can fold the strap so it doesn't have any buckles resting on the TFT screen. It's not particularly cheap, but I think it's worth the money for such a nice well thought quality product.
Great product. Good quality materials. Attachment system easy to use. Flip the strap to grip and secure its position easily. Have not had long enough to provide information on longevity of the attachment points.
I bought this strap specifically to make carrying my FZ1000 zoom camera more comfortable. Using the anchor as one of the attachment points lets the camera hang lens downward behind you. The camera is ready to shoot very quickly. The strap is not cheap, but is well worth the price as I carry the large camera more often. Recommended!
Peak Design have a video on YouTube showing how the strap can be used.
