Peak Design Slide Black Camera Strap

Great service and great products

Having just bought a Canon R5 and having an array of lenses from 50mm prime to 400mm Telephoto plus the supply of an abysmal strap from Canon I needed an alternative, and a versatile one to suit the lenses. This strap does it all and with much more comfort than I've enjoyed/endured previously. The fitting is straight forward and the components are excellent quality. Highly recommend.

This is is not my first PeakDesign slide, it is an excellent piece of kit, very well designed. the strap can be left on the camera or in the bag. I use it in the sling style, the weight feels minimal on the shoulder, the camera moves very smoothly.

I am re-assured that the anchors and the strap will last for ages, the anchors are easily replaceable.

Very easy to swap between different cameras and lenses.
Nice wide strap making it comfortable to carry heavy cameras and bodies.
Easy to adjust for carrying comfort.
Can be worn either way around enabling it to slide on the shoulders or cling for security while walking.
Very good product and well designed.
Can highly recommend it. Looked at other straps but like this the best.

I bought the heavier duty Peak Design strap, mainly to carry my Canon R5 with the 500mm F4/1.4 extender or the 1-400mm for bird photography. Both are quite heavy lenses to carry for longer periods. It works very well and is a lot more comfortable to use than the Canon strap that came with the 500, or a cross-over shoulder strap I already owned for use with the 1-400.
One side of the PD strap slides across the shoulder with ease to raise the larger setup for occasional walkaround/handholding photography, and the other is grippy so stays on one shoulder if preferred for shorter periods. The PD strap can be quickly removed from the 500, say when using a tripod, or attached in a few seconds to the tripod mount on the 1-400 with the clip-in system. It really is superb, and quick to move from one setup to another, although, yes, it’s a bit expensive!
