Exemplifying resilience, the OM System 150-600mm lens features robust IPX1 splash & dust-proof performance, complemented by a fluorine coating, ensuring enduring performance even in the harshest environments. This lens is a paradigm of portability, with a compact design that facilitates swift and nimble maneuverability, perfect for tracking elusive subjects in the wild.
In a revolutionary leap in photographic excellence, the OM System 150-600mm lens offers unmatched reach, resilience, and performance, redefining the limits of what’s possible in photography. Its focal range can extend up to an impressive 1200mm, or an astonishing 2400mm with the optional MC-20 2x teleconverter. This versatility is particularly valuable for super telephoto photography, where capturing distant wildlife becomes a breeze, and cropping becomes a thing of the past. The 4x zoom range allows for flexible composition, ensuring crystal-clear, high-resolution images throughout the entire spectrum of zoom.
Boasting a sophisticated stabilization system, this lens incorporates both in-lens and 5-axis sync IS in-body stabilization, delivering an extraordinary 7 shutter speed steps of stabilization. Even when used independently, it offers up to 6 shutter speed steps of stabilization, providing stability for handheld shooting in super telephoto and low-light conditions. This level of stability reduces reliance on a tripod, allowing photographers to stay agile and focused on capturing moments in the wild.
Designed for real-world challenges, the lens features an IPX1-equivalent splash & dustproof design. This makes it ideal for rainy environments or any situation where water splashes are expected. The front lens is coated with fluorine, simplifying the removal of raindrops, dust, or dirt with a quick wipe, ensuring a clear and clean lens for continuous shooting.
User-friendly features enhance the overall photography experience. Customizable zoom ring torque settings with Smooth (S) and Tight (T) modes, a Lock (L) mode to secure the lens at the wide-angle end during transport, and various switches for focus limiting, focus modes, image stabilization, and lens function further elevate shooting convenience.
The lens is not only a powerhouse for long-range photography but also excels in close-up shooting. With a closest focusing distance of 0.56m at the wide-angle end and 2.8m at the telephoto end, it delivers superb close-up performance. Achieving a maximum image magnification of 0.7x at the wide-angle end and 0.39x at the telephoto end, it transforms into a tele macro lens, capturing intricate details of small subjects like flowers and insects. Additionally, when combined with a teleconverter, it rivals the performance of a dedicated macro lens, expanding possibilities for outdoor field photography.
The lens goes a step further with support for Focus Stacking mode, allowing photographers to capture multiple shots at various focal positions and create a single image with an extended focus range. This innovative feature opens up new avenues for creative expression, particularly in macro photography.
In summary, the OM System 150-600mm lens is not just a lens; it's a gateway to unparalleled telephoto capabilities and a versatile tool for photographers seeking excellence in both long-range and close-up photography.

Fantastic lens with incredible reach and sharp throughout the zoom range.
i own the 300mm f4 pro lens which is superb but i was always adding the converters to increase my focal length so i took the plunge and got the 150-600mm and i love it.
It is heavy compared to the 300mm and you will need sound technique to use it at its longest setting.
Very well made lens with great image stabilisation , i am keeping my 300mm for when i need the f4 aperture but the 150-600mm mostly lives on my camera now.
