Nikon have featured 19 elements in 15 groups, including 2 ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements, 1 aspherical ED element, 2 aspherical elements. The glass elements have been strategically arranged to ensure there is a significant reduction of optical aberrations. Elements with an ARNEO coat work to prevent effects of ghosting and flare when working with bright light sources/backlit situations. Having moved from FX DSLR and always using primes I was apprehensive regards this lens. I changed to Nikon Z and after looking at many reviews purchased this as one of my new lenses. What a cracking lens, sharp, great Bokeh, lightweight and nicely built. I am pleasantly surprised. I have the focus ring set to exposure compensation and is easy to use, the barrel is nicely stiff and only extends a short distance keeping it well balanced. It resolves colour well on the Z6 ii, distortion is very controlled, corners are sharp and for the price compared to the other Z lenses is quite a bargain. Take your time with it, be conscious of the background and you will be rewarded with top class images from this lens at a great price.
