Nikon have featured 16 elements in 11 groups, including 4 ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements and 3 aspherical elements. The glass elements are strategically arranged from optimum use of their technology, ensuring that optical aberrations are significantly reduced across the zoom range. The lens elements are also multi-coated with Nikon’s Nano Crystal and ARNEO coatings, this is to prevent effects of ghosting and flare when working with bright light sources/backlit situations. With NIKKOR optics, you can be assured that images are consistently uniform with edge-to-edge sharpness, clarity, and vivid contrast.
Durability
Travel to even the most challenging location with confidence as Nikon have ensured this lens is ready to withstand the elements. Featuring extensive sealing along all the movable parts of the lens barrel to prevent dust and moisture from getting into the lens. As well as an aluminium allow mount to reduce weight and increase durability.
Filter-ready
With the included, specialised lens hood, you can add on 112mm screw on filters. The rear filter shot also allows the use of gel colour filters.
Uncomprimised Images
The Nikon 14-24mm lens features a fluorine coated front lens elements that rejects water, dust, and dirt so image quality is not compromised. It also allows for easy cleaning when you’re shooting.

The lense is great but the delivery company was not able to action tracking, which is a bit worrying when purchasing camera equipment. Harrisons were great, and re assured me that they were aware of the problem and that my lense was due to arrive shortly.
