Leki Carbon Trekking Pole with speed lock, is a great aid to photography as well as walking. Fast and safe, the height adjustment is designed with an internal adjustment system which helps to keep out the worst of the elements and the rubber grip is very comfortable to hold. This four section trekking pole has an integrated photo adapter underneath the silver top which is fast and easy to access and is perfect for usng in low light or bad weather to get sharp images.
The Leki FS Carbon has a metal tip with a rubber buffer which makes it perfect for both hard and soft surfaces and the comfortable wrist strap means the pole can be held securely either whilst walking or when standing and admiring the view. The 1/4 inch screw will fit the majority of camera tripod bushes and at just 360 grams in weight, it won't become a burden on a long days trek. The fast flip lock levers extend the trekking pole to the required height and when not in use it can be attached to a rucksack, or put into a camera bag.

Love it. Light. Solid. Looks good. Works smoothly. Nifty integrated camera mount (small plate not suitable for very large cameras, though as advertised and fine for my purposes). Getting lots of use.
I purchased the trekking pole to replace the same model that I lost whist on holiday so I knew what I was buying. Excellent quality and ease of use (after all, it is a Leki!) and, best of all, it cost almost £40 less than I paid for the same pole almost two years ago. What's not to like?!?
As a long term user of Leki trekking poles I knew what quality to expect, and am very pleased with the purchase. The camera mounting works fine and the quick release clips don't seem to add much inertia to the pole as it swings during walking. (I'm used to the cam based tightening ones.) I haven't used it "in the field" yet but will be very surprised if I find anything to disappoint me.
Very useful pole because it is a proper good quality walking pole AND a good strong monopod for a camera or telescope.
You can get other walking poles which are very poor monopods and monopods which are useless walking poles. This product does both and has a very large adjustable range. Excellent.
I have only tried my camera on the monopod/trekking pole when it was initially delivered and have not had chance to try it out "in the field" but it does feel very sturdy and particularly well made. My camera sits on the screw securely and also the grip of the pole is very comfortable. It looks like it will be ideal for me.
