Lee Filters LEE85 Big Stopper

Having first launched a micro system seven years ago, LEE has completely redesigned a new system which is both lightweight and compact, and packed with all the features photographers need. Based on customer feedback, the LEE85 shares the same clever design features and benefits as the LEE100. These enable better performance and more ergonomic handling.

Stopper filters are used for extending exposure times which has the effect of making anything that is moving become blurred or ghost like, for example clouds, waterfalls, rivers or the sea. Used creativity they can change the way we look at moving objects and capture a real sense of time passing in your images. Stoppers are not limited to landscapes and can be used to blur crowds of people, traffic, or anything in motion.

By greatly extending exposure times the Big Stopper (10 Stops) blurs anything that is moving in your image, for example clouds, waterfalls, rivers, and the sea. The filter can also be used on cityscapes to blur people or on roads and motorways to blur traffic.
