The Kowa BD25 Compact Binoculars - 8x25 – Green, have been engineered for the use of birdwatchers, adventurers, and hikers alike. They adopt a lightweight design, weighing only 320g, that can be taken everywhere and anywhere. With a close focusing distance of 1.8m, the user can get up-close to the subject for incredible detail. These compact binoculars feature multi-coated lenses and C3 prism coatings, ensuring first class light transmission and brighter, sharper images. The Kowa BD25 Compact Binoculars 8x25 are fully waterproof and are dry nitrogen filled to prevent fogging when in different environments. The body is rubber armoured to safe guard the internal lenses whilst doubling as a firm grip to allow the user to safely handle the binoculars even in wet conditions. Their slim stature, along with the dual barrel design allows for comfortable and easy handling for long viewing periods.

These binoculars suit my varied interests perfectly. The image is sharp and crisp, though the field of view isn't as wide as my regular binoculars ( 8x42 )...however it's for travelling light that I need them. Sturdily built, pocketable, lightweight. These binoculars go with me everywhere, in pockets, backpack or car. I've already observed butterflies and reptiles on local walks. Even in evening light they perform reasonably well....
