The Kite Optics Ardea Carbon Fibre Tripod is specially designed for birdwatchers, offering an ideal balance between portability, strength, and stability. Built from durable carbon fibre, it is extremely lightweight while capable of supporting heavier optical instruments.

Design and Build

This standard-height tripod features a three-section leg design with twist locks for quick and secure adjustment. Its carbon fibre construction ensures both strength and minimal weight, making it ideal for extended use in the field. The black finish provides a low-profile, natural look, suitable for wildlife observation.

Head and Compatibility

Fitted with the Manfrotto 128RC fluid head, the tripod provides smooth and precise movement, essential for tracking wildlife. A quick release plate is included, featuring a 1/4" screw, while the tripod top accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" screws, offering broad compatibility with various scopes and cameras. The head supports a maximum load of 4 kg.
