The Kaiser RSP Xtra autoDrive Copy Stand is a professional-grade floor stand designed for precise, reproducible photographic work. Ideal for museums, archives, and studios, it provides unrivalled stability and accuracy for reproducing artworks, documents, and other objects.
Precision Engineering
Constructed from multi-chamber special aluminium with a matt black anodised finish, the 227 cm (89.4 in.) column features printed cm and inch scales for quick reference. The cast aluminium camera carrier allows motorised height adjustment via the supplied “Kaiser autoDrive” control program or cable remote control. Any position is held precisely by a self-limiting worm-gear, with automatic limit stops detected by magnetic sensors.
Smooth, Programmable Operation
The system allows height positions to be stored and retrieved with approx. 1/100 mm repeat accuracy, ensuring reproducible results. The camera carrier can be horizontally adjusted via parallel guides, swivelled ±90° with fine adjustment, and supports up to 15 kg (33 lbs). The motorised adjustment is speed-independent of load and includes a built-in spirit level for perfect alignment.
Intelligent Control Software
The “Kaiser autoDrive” program offers PC- or laptop-controlled height adjustment, plus brightness control for compatible RB 570 AX LED lighting units. Users can store up to 500 projects - including camera positions and lighting settings - and recall them instantly. The interface features intuitive menus, project descriptions, and real-time position indicators for effortless operation. Emergency stops can be triggered via software, keyboard, or remote control.
Stable, Flexible Base
The column foot is constructed from double-strutted steel tubing with a cast aluminium base and four levelling feet. It can be bolted securely to tables such as the Kaiser K5712 or K5630, or to custom-built platforms. Required floor space is 83 × 140 cm (32.7 × 55.1 in.).
