The Kaiser RS 2 XA Copy Stand is a professional-grade camera stand designed for precise reproduction photography of documents, artwork, and small objects. Its robust, yet compact design makes it suitable for both studio and on-location work.
The stand features a non-reflective matt grey baseboard with a printed fine grid and cm/inch scales for accurate alignment. A matt-black anodised aluminium column also marked with cm/inch measurements ensures precision and durability. The hand-cranked height adjustment operates via friction bearings for smooth, reliable positioning.
The column can be rotated 180°, allowing flexible camera orientation, while the horizontally adjustable camera arm moves approximately 7 cm (2.7 in.) forward and backwards for fine distance adjustment. A standard 1/4” mounting thread accommodates most cameras.
Despite its compact footprint, the stand supports a maximum load of 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs), making it ideal for a wide range of lightweight camera setups.
