The Kaiser RB 100D is a professional LED daylight lighting unit designed for precise, reproducible copy and reproduction work. Its dual light-bank configuration provides even, soft, and symmetrical illumination, making it ideal for archival, museum, and studio imaging applications.

Thermo-Management for Consistent Results

To ensure stable brightness and colour temperature, the RB 100D features integrated thermo-management. Sensor-controlled temperature monitoring with dynamic compensation control works in combination with advanced passive cooling via the LED boards and anodised aluminium housings. This guarantees constant light output regardless of ambient or unit temperature, while also extending LED service life.

High-Quality Daylight Illumination

Each light bank is equipped with 272 selected white SMD LEDs, delivering 5600 K daylight with excellent colour fidelity (CRI up to 96). The light is completely free of IR and UV radiation and is flicker-free, ensuring safe illumination for sensitive originals and reliable results for high-resolution digital capture.

Uniform Light Distribution and Control

The two LED panels are perfectly matched in intensity, producing homogeneous illumination with precise symmetry. Brightness can be adjusted separately or synchronously in 1% steps from 10% to 100%, with settings shown on an illuminated display. A memory function recalls the last brightness setting after powering off.

Robust and Adjustable Construction

Sturdy anodised aluminium housings can be swivelled, shifted, and height-adjusted. Detachable soft screens allow controlled diffusion. Vertical arms with height markings and detents ensure repeatable positioning, while die-cast clamp bases securely mount to surfaces up to 55 mm (2.2 in.) thick.

Compatibility

The RB 100D is suitable for copy stands of the rePRO System, and for Kaiser 5600 copy stands from the RD System.
