The Kaiser Metal Base Plate is a robust steel support plate designed for use with K4407, K4475, or other R1 system columns. Its dark grey finish provides a professional look while ensuring durability and stability for demanding studio setups.
The plate features a die-cast base and a receptacle for accessories (e.g., K5965, K5040) with a 16 mm (0.6 in.) standard spigot, which can be mounted on either the right or left side. Height-adjustable feet allow precise levelling on uneven surfaces.
With dimensions of 45 × 45 cm (17.7 × 17.7 in.) and a plate thickness of 8 mm (0.3 in.), the base plate weighs approximately 13.5 kg (29.7 lbs.), providing a solid foundation for various imaging and reproduction tasks.
In combination with the K4407 or K4475 column and the K5523 camera arm, the base plate can also be used as a Kaiser Vertical Stand, offering flexible configuration options for professional photographers.
