Purchased January 2021. The viewer works well and is easy to use, but a number of issues. The plug is basically a two pin Euro type converted for UK use. There is no on/off switch, so once plugged in it stays on. Far better to have a switch on the viewer, or at the very least an inline switch on the power cable. My viewer came with a broken LED lamp, but this was sorted by Harrisons very quickly. Would recommend Harrisons for their service.

The phrase "does what it says on the tin" is frequently used to descibe an item - and this is no exception. It produces a bright x3 magnification of a 2x2 slide which can be ejected from viewing by means of a button at bottom right collecting in a holding area at the front of the viewer. The added bonus of an LED lightsource should mean bulb replacements will be very rare if indeed required at all.
