The Kaiser K4478 is a wide, vibration-resistant aluminium column with a dull black anodised finish and cm/inch scales. It features two camera mounts, with the upper mount offering weight compensation via a built-in roller spring, and both mounts include locking screws for secure height adjustment. Height is 1 m (40 in.) and adjustable via gear rack or hand crank, making it ideal for photographic or enlarger setups requiring stability, precision, and flexibility.
