Insta360 Ace Pro 2 8K Action Camera with Leica Lens
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is a single lens action camera made with Leica, built around a 1/1.3in 8K sensor. Where the X series films in 360, the Ace Pro 2 is a traditional point-and-shoot action camera, with a flip screen for vlogging and better image quality than most rivals in its class.
Leica lens and 8K sensor
The Leica Summarit lens covers a 157 degree field of view at f/2.6. The sensor records 8K at 30fps, 4K at 60fps with Active HDR, and 4K at 120fps for slow motion. Photos are 50MP.
Low light
Two processing chips, one for imaging and one for AI, power PureVideo mode, which reduces noise in evening and indoor footage.
Colour
Leica Vivid and Leica Natural profiles give finished looking colour straight from the camera, and I-Log gives a flat profile for grading.
Made for vlogging and sport
The 2.5in screen flips up to face you. You can start recording by voice or hand gesture, and pre-recording keeps up to 120 seconds before you press the button. It is waterproof to 12m, or 60m in the dive case.
Which version
This is the camera with one battery. The Ace Pro 2 Creator Bundle adds two more batteries, a fast charge hub, a mini 2-in-1 tripod and a screen protector. For 360 video look at the Insta360 X5.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Ace Pro 2 and the X5?
The Ace Pro 2 has one lens and films what is in front of it, like a traditional action camera. The X5 has two lenses and films in 360, so you choose the angle afterwards.
Is the Ace Pro 2 waterproof?
To 12m without a case, and to 60m in the Insta360 dive case.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 180 minutes in Insta360's lab test at 1080p in endurance mode. Expect less at 4K and 8K.
Can I use it as a dashcam?
Yes. It has dashcam and loop recording modes.
Does it work with GoPro mounts?
It comes with Insta360's magnetic standard mount, which has the usual two-prong fitting found on GoPro accessories.
What is the difference between the Ace Pro 2 and the Creator Bundle?
The camera is the same. The Creator Bundle adds two spare batteries, a fast charge hub, a mini tripod and a screen protector.
