The GPO Passion ED 10x56 Binoculars combine high magnification, excellent low-light performance and robust construction with ergonomic handling. Their large 56mm objective lenses provide excellent light-gathering capability, while ED optics and an Abbe-König prism produce bright, detailed images with excellent colour reproduction.
Excellent Optical Performance
The Passion ED 10x56 combines ED optics and multi-coated lenses for high-resolution images, accurate colour reproduction and sharpness across the field of view. The 10x magnification provides a wide 114m field of view at 1,000m, making it well suited to detailed observation at longer distances.
The Abbe-König prism delivers over 93% light transmission, helping to maintain a bright, detailed image in low-light conditions. Combined with the large 56mm objective lenses and generous 5.6mm exit pupil, these binoculars are particularly well suited to observation around dawn, dusk and into the night.
Robust Magnesium Housing
Constructed with a strong and durable magnesium housing, as well as full rubber armour, these binoculars are protected for demanding outdoor use. An integrated tripod thread allows the binoculars to be mounted securely for extended periods of observation.
Ergonomic Viewing
The micro-bridge design provides a comfortable and secure grip that makes the binoculars easy to handle. A generous 20mm eye relief supports comfortable viewing, while the 57–75mm interpupillary adjustment allows the binoculars to be set to suit the individual user.
Close Focusing
Despite their large 56mm objective lenses, the Passion ED 10x56 can focus as close as 2.5m, providing useful versatility for observing subjects at both shorter and longer distances.
