The Fujinon 10x70 FMTR-SX Binoculars are among the world’s top astronomy binoculars, engineered with military-spec durability and exceptional optical performance. These binoculars transmit over 95% of incoming light thanks to Fujinon’s advanced EBC multi-coatings on every lens and prism surface. Their flat-field, distortion-free eyepieces accept optional polarizer, nebula, haze, and neutral density filters to suit all observing needs.
Optical Performance
Ideal for low-light conditions, the wide 7mm exit pupil and large 70mm objective lenses provide bright, high-contrast views with vivid colour accuracy. A 5.3° field of view and minimum focus distance of 20 metres make these binoculars perfect for detailed, long-range observations - from stargazing to terrestrial viewing. The field-flattener lenses ensure sharpness across the entire image without distortion.
Comfort & Handling
Designed for extended use, the binoculars offer an extremely long 23mm eye relief, ideal for glasses wearers. The 56 to 74mm interpupillary adjustment and fold-down rubber eyecups ensure a comfortable and secure fit, while the rubber-armoured body delivers a reliable grip even in wet conditions.
