The Dorr DJE-800L is a compact, rechargeable laser rangefinder that measures distances from 3m to 800m to within a metre. It is quick and simple to use on the golf course, out stalking, or anywhere you need to know how far away something is.

Fast, accurate readings

Point, press and you have a reading in about 0.3 seconds, accurate to plus or minus 1m. Several target modes help you pick out a flag against trees or a deer against a hedge, and the display inside the eyepiece shows the distance in metres or yards with a battery indicator.

6x view

The 6x magnification and multicoated 24mm lens give a clear view of your target with a 126m field of view at 1000m.

Light, with a secure grip

At 186g and 11cm long the DJE-800L fits a pocket or golf bag. Soft-touch armour gives a firm grip, even with gloves.

USB rechargeable

A built-in 650mAh lithium-polymer battery charges from the supplied USB cable, so there are no batteries to replace. A 1/4 inch thread lets you mount it on a tripod for steady readings at long range.

Frequently asked questions

How far can the Dorr DJE-800L measure?

From 3m up to 800m. Maximum range depends on the size and reflectivity of the target, so expect shorter readings on small or dark subjects.

How accurate is it?

Can I use it for golf?

Yes. It reads distance to the flag quickly and shows yards or metres. The Rules of Golf allow distance measuring devices unless a competition local rule says otherwise, so check with your club.

It has a built-in 650mAh battery that charges from the supplied USB cable.

Is it good for hunting?

Yes. It is light and quiet, and knowing the exact range helps with a clean, ethical shot.

How heavy is it?

About 186g.

What is in the box?

Rangefinder, USB cable, hand strap, cleaning cloth and pouch.
