The Dorr MP 170 four section monopod is extremely compact at 62cm but will easily work well with a DSLR and long lens. Designed for resting only, the MP170 won't stand alone, but will extend to a huge 170cm making it perfect for standard landscape or portrait shots. It has a universal 1/4" mount which fixes to most photo equipment and the adjustable screw foot means that if the ground is uneven, there will always be a perfect spot for the monopod. The twist style locking mechanisms ensure that the monopod is securely extended and the rubber grips make it comfortable to use even when the weather is terrible. The rubber tip on the 170 monopod gives a secure rest and it comes complete with a V resting adapter to help with a really long lens. It also a spike and carry case.
