Harrison Cameras Halloween Sale - Save 50% until 2nd of November, while stocks last!

  • 10x to 30x zoom with one lever
  • Large 60mm objective lenses
  • BK7 porro prisms
  • 1/4 inch tripod thread
  • Fold-down rubber eyecups for glasses
  • Rubber coated, 900g
  • Case and strap included

The Dorr Alpina Pro 10-30x60 is a big porro prism zoom binocular for long viewing sessions at a distance. Its 60mm objectives and 10x to 30x zoom suit open landscapes, coastlines, distant wildlife and watching building work or boats.

10x to 30x with one lever

Find your subject at 10x, then push the zoom lever on the eyepiece bridge to bring it up to 30x. It saves swapping between binoculars and a scope when you want a closer look.

Made for a tripod

At 900g and with up to 30x magnification, this is a binocular to use on a tripod or window clamp. The 1/4 inch thread takes a standard binocular adapter, and with the binocular mounted you can watch for hours without tired arms.

60mm objectives

Large 60mm objective lenses give a bright view at 10x, and BK7 porro prisms give a natural image with depth. At 30x the view is dimmer, so it works best in good light.

Comfortable to use

Soft rubber eyecups fold down for glasses, and the rubber coating gives a firm grip even with gloves on a wet day.

Handheld alternative

If you want a lighter zoom binocular you can use handheld, the Dorr Alpina Pro 8-20x50 weighs 740g.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a tripod?

For anything above about 15x, yes. A tripod and binocular adapter give a steady view at full 30x zoom.

How do zoom binoculars work?

Focus at the lowest magnification, then move the zoom lever to increase magnification.

Are they good for astronomy?

The 60mm objectives work well for the Moon at lower zoom settings on a tripod. For deep sky viewing a fixed magnification binocular is brighter.

Can I use them with glasses?

Yes. Fold the eyecups down when wearing glasses.

How heavy are they?

About 900g.

Are they waterproof?

No. The rubber coating gives grip and protection, but they are not sealed against water.
