This was my first attempt at Macro photography and wanted a good priced lens to try. Was delivered quickly and well packaged. Comes with a bag to put the lens in. I am using this on a Sony a7r2 and even in full frame mode this will give you almost the full shot with very little vignetting, although it works best on cropped mode or bodies for magnification. There is a very slight play on the fitting to the body (hence 4 stars), but no light leaks. Focus ring is very firm and the aperture ring slightly less on my copy but are both easily usable. The image quality is superb.. sharp right through the aperture range and has a nice contrast to the images. Worth every penny so buy one you wont be disappointing!

Well decided to give this a go for the money, very glad I did. Comes well packaged with a lens bag. Focus ring pretty tough to move but then you wouldn't want it too loose. No clicking on the aperture ring but again not too loose. I used this on my Sony a7rII and in full frame this will give you a vignette around the edge, but actually you will get more usable pixels than using crop mode if required. Set to infinity on lens but it does not focus to infinity (not on my copy), but not worried as this is just for macro. Images are sharp through all apertures. Money well spent and recommended purchase for getting into macro photography. Delivery and service also spot on.. :-)
