This Trekker Tripod Mk3 from Benbo is a lightweight verison of the Classic No1 tripod and is ideal for use where the tripod needs to be carried a greater distance. The newly designed leg head castings allow the legs to be folded compactly when transporting the tripod. Features tubular aluminium legs which offers the best combination of weight and rigidity possible. The flexibility of the leg joint mechanism combined with the ability to swing the centre column through 180 degrees, this allows the camera to be positioned at almost any point relative to the tripod legs.
A hook at the bottom of the centre column allows a camera bag or sandbag to be attached when greater stability is required.

I have, literally, just received this today. No gripe with the Harrison's, Hermes got it totally screwed up and it has taken TWO WEEKS to get it to me. Big thanks to Alison at Harrison's for her help and support.
Now, the Benbo Trekker Mk3. Sturdy, solid, adaptable, incredibly versatile. Will go in places no traditional tripod will go, and it does it with ease. Lock up of all parts is very good. I have no problems deploying this tripod, no 'wrestling with an octopus' for me. Just needs a little application and thought and it's easy to set up.
Very happy with this, I know it will last a long time and get lots of use. Just a shame I didn't order a bag for it..!!
I have to use a tripod because of a disability and have been looking at the BENBO trekker for some time now for my macro photography. I wish I had taken the plunge earlier as this tripod suits all aspects of my photography.
